The challenge

The operational challenge.

Tight operational dependencies, fluctuating schedules and thin margins: heavy-duty logistics has to safeguard operational continuity and reliability. Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) is a central decision factor. The switch to electric vehicles requires automated systems to plan, execute, monitor and adjust operations in real time.

The solution

What PANION delivers for e-truck fleets.

PANION's charging management for e-truck fleets creates operational context and connects the data points – so fleet operators can:

Focus on the core business

Real-time integration and interaction with the existing Transport Management System (TMS) – for on-time, stress-free delivery through intelligent charging management.

Focus on the vehicle

Real-time integration with vehicle telematics – accounting for and anticipating the real-world conditions on the road and at the depot.

Cut costs

Optimised timing of charging sessions lowers energy costs – without jeopardising departure readiness.

Protect the battery

Charging power stays as low as possible and uses the full window until the next tour – protecting battery health.

From the field

Proven in day-to-day operations.

„The PANION team has developed a deep understanding of our operations. PANION automatically coordinates charging with our day-to-day business. Over the next three years, we will grow our fleet from 100 to around 500 trucks." Svein Sollie, Director Transport, ASKO NORGE AS Svein Sollie, Director Transport, ASKO NORGE AS

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about PANION for e-truck fleets.

What is PANION for e-truck fleets?

A manufacturer-independent software platform for Integrated Charge Management: PANION connects fleet, transport, charging and energy management in real time and keeps your e-truck fleet predictably ready to drive in day-to-day operations – at lower energy costs.

How does PANION keep e-trucks ready on time?

PANION calculates the minimum state of charge for the next tour on a per-vehicle basis and schedules charging as late and as little as possible – aligned with tour plans and grid limits. If anything deviates, the system warns you early, before a tour cannot start on time.

Can PANION be integrated with TMS and telematics?

Yes, and vendor-independently: PANION connects Transport Management Systems, vehicle telematics (GPS, state of charge) and charging infrastructure in real time. Not every system needs to be connected to get started – even a simple, informally managed TMS can be integrated.

How does PANION lower energy costs and protect the grid connection?

Through optimal timing of charging sessions and dynamic load management, PANION keeps the site below the agreed grid connection capacity and avoids expensive load peaks – without jeopardising departure readiness. This also protects the battery.

What does PANION cost?

PANION costs €0.01 per charged kWh – no setup fee and no cost per vehicle, depot or charge point. This way, the pricing model grows with the electrification of your fleet.
