Potsdam, 1 September 2026 – Prometheus Informatics and k2.mobility are pooling their expertise to technically integrate their E-CoreX and PANION software platforms and to offer them jointly on the market. E-CoreX is a modular cloud platform for operational fleet management. PANION connects transport management, vehicle telematics, charging infrastructure and the power grid in real time. The planned integration will create a joint solution that links fleet operations and route planning with intelligent charging and energy management.
New requirements arising from electrification
When deploying electric trucks and commercial vehicles, conventional route and deployment planning is no longer sufficient on its own. Battery status, available charge points, charging capacities and energy costs also have to be taken into account and coordinated in day-to-day operations. By connecting E-CoreX and PANION, these processes can in future be managed within an integrated environment.
The challenges that make integrated charge management necessary can be seen, for example, at waste disposal companies, which are increasingly electrifying even more complex depots. There, limited grid capacities and restricted parking options meet demanding operational workflows. The integrated solution supports the use of electric vehicles without creating additional complexity for dispatchers and drivers.
Lower implementation effort for customers
At the same time, the collaboration reduces the implementation effort for customers. With E-CoreX, Prometheus Informatics offers a modular cloud platform for, among other things, on-board computers, telematics, trip logging, tachograph readout, driving style analysis and track & trace. The integration with PANION adds intelligent charging and energy management. Together, Prometheus Informatics and k2.mobility already cover a large share of the required systems and interfaces, thereby reducing the additional integration effort.
