EMES and k2.mobility announce partnership for seamless operation of e-truck fleets

The cloud-based SaaS platform PANION by k2.mobility is being integrated into the EMES ecosystem – charging infrastructure, energy management and fleet control form one seamless overall solution.

Potsdam, 16 June 2026 – k2.mobility, provider of software solutions for the electrification of heavy commercial vehicle fleets, announces its partnership with EMES, the leading provider of charging infrastructure technology for heavy commercial vehicles. With the new partnership, both companies are pursuing the goal of enabling the efficient and reliable electrification of large commercial vehicle fleets.

As part of the partnership, the cloud-based SaaS platform PANION by k2.mobility will be integrated into the EMES ecosystem. Charging infrastructure, energy management and fleet control thus form one seamless overall solution.

The joint offering enables fleet operators to:

  • coordinate charging processes with day-to-day transport operations
  • optimise energy consumption and reduce peak-load costs
  • protect grid capacity while ensuring high operational availability
  • scale electric truck fleets in a plannable and controlled way

The Norwegian company EMES combines state-of-the-art technology with many years of industry experience. It develops charging infrastructure specifically for use in Nordic weather conditions. For EMES, the electrification of heavy-duty transport means far more than installing charging stations.

"What is decisive is the intelligent integration of energy, infrastructure and operational processes into one shared system. Through the partnership with k2.mobility, we can offer our customers a comprehensive solution that delivers both operational excellence and long-term scalability."

— Vidar Grøset, CEO of EMES

"Integrated Charge Management is the key to electrifying heavy commercial vehicle fleets. The close interlinking of charging infrastructure, energy systems and the requirements of day-to-day logistics operations is a basic prerequisite. Through the partnership with EMES, we combine PANION's proven charging and fleet management capabilities with a leading hardware and energy platform. Together, we enable fleet operators to run electric trucks reliably, efficiently and at scale."

About k2.mobility

K2 Mobility GmbH is a technology company based in Potsdam that develops software solutions for the economically viable electrification of heavy commercial vehicle and bus fleets. With the cloud-based SaaS platform PANION, k2.mobility integrates transport management, vehicle telemetry, charging infrastructure and the power grid in real time.

In its Integrated Charge Management, PANION links central operational data such as tour schedules, departure and arrival times, routes, charge points and battery states, and uses this to optimise dynamic charging plans. In doing so, the platform closes a gap in existing systems that were developed for diesel operations and cannot represent the requirements of electric fleets.

As an intelligent charging and energy management system, PANION is already used by companies such as ASKO/NorgesGruppen, Amazon ATS, Schenker, Posten Bring and Hansea.
