Veenendaal/Potsdam, 27 October 2026 – Prometheus Informatics and k2.mobility are combining their expertise to technically integrate their software platforms E-CoreX and PANION and offer them jointly on the market. E-CoreX is a modular cloud platform for operational fleet management that brings together data from various systems and provides insight into day-to-day operations. PANION connects transport management, vehicle telematics, charging infrastructure and the power grid in real time. The planned integration creates a joint solution that combines operational fleet management and route planning with smart charging and energy management. The solution is aimed in particular at transport and logistics companies, and also supports other sectors operating electric commercial vehicles.
New requirements driven by electrification
When deploying electric trucks and commercial vehicles, conventional route and deployment planning alone is no longer sufficient. Battery status, available charging points, charging capacities and energy costs must also be taken into account and coordinated in day-to-day operations.
These challenges are faced by transport companies with complex operational processes, such as waste management companies, which are increasingly electrifying their fleets. Integrated charging management is particularly important at sites where limited grid capacity and parking space meet demanding operational processes. By connecting E-CoreX and PANION, these processes can in future be managed in a single integrated environment, without adding complexity for dispatchers and drivers.
Lower implementation effort for customers
At the same time, the partnership reduces implementation effort for customers. With E-CoreX, Prometheus Informatics offers a modular cloud platform covering on-board computers, telematics, trip logging, tachograph downloads, driving style analysis and track & trace, among other things. The integration with PANION adds smart charging and energy management functions. Together, Prometheus Informatics and k2.mobility already cover a large share of the required systems and interfaces, reducing the integration effort needed.
